| Lesson Notes | - Direct students to the first set of shapes on the activity sheet and ask: How would you make a pattern in these shapes using 2 colours? Discuss student's ideas.
- Repeat for 3, 4 and 5 colours.
- Direct students to create a different pattern in each set of shapes.
- Move around the class and ask: (Reflection) Can you tell me about your pattern? What colour will this shape be in your pattern?
- Provide the opportunity for students to share responses.
