| Lesson Notes | - Provide each child with an activity sheet, play-dough, ice-cream cone, cup and small box.
- Ask: What do you need to do in Find Out 1? What shape do you think you will make? Can you draw a picture of the shape in the air? When you fill the cone with play-dough just fill to the top of the cone and flatten the play-dough.
- Direct children to carry out the task. Ask: What shape have you made? How is it like the ice-cream cone? How is it different? Can you think of another object that you could fill with play-dough to make a cone?
- Repeat for Find Out 2 and 3.

| Reflections | Hold up choc-milk carton and ask: What shape would you make if you filled the choc-milk carton with play-dough? Can you draw the shape in the air? Can you draw the shape on paper while I fill the choc-milk carton? How is your drawing like the play-dough model?
