Lesson Notes
  • Briefly discuss the question as a whole class. Students provide some initial suggestions for solving the problem.
  • Provide students with the opportunity to work without close supervision from the teacher to encourage conversation, sharing and risk-taking.
  • Bring students together on several occasions to share ideas and question each other. Encourage students to reflect on their strategy to see if it can be improved.
  • Share solutions and strategies as a class.
