- Students work in small groups to create a new list of year levels and numbers.
- Share ideas used by groups (year order, smallest number to largest number, largest to smallest)
- Direct students to look at the table showing teachers and their classes. Ask: What information is on this table? What information is missing from the table? Where can we get the information to finish the table?
- Students work in small groups to create a strategy for using the information on their new list to complete the class numbers on the table.
- Share strategies and solutions for finding class numbers.
