Australian Curriculum Scope and Sequence Planners

  • The Australian Curriculum Planners have been updated.
  • They now contain the AU Curriculum codes to show the links to MTSonline.
  • Download the new Scope and Sequence Planners from Search Option 1.

Summative Tests

  • Each of the Summative Tests has been 'tweaked' to remove ambiguities.
  • The updated versions are now available for downloading.
  • My thanks to the teachers who tested the Tests and provided feedback.

New Summative Tests

  • Go to the Summative Tests via the link at the left menu.
  • They are designed as 'end-of-year' tests.
  • They support a teacher's formative assessments from across the year.
  • They provide quality data for teacher and school accountability.
  • They provide a platform for measuring individual student performance.

The new activities support the Australian Curriculum Year 7

    The new Year 7 resources cover all content and include
  • 400 Activities to download, customize, print, share
  • 400 colour-landscape activities for EWBs
  • Hundreds of wonderful Interactive Resources for EWBs
  • A comprehensive Test Item Bank
  • Teacher Notes for each activity with focus questions and more
  • A Year 7 Scope and Sequence for 'tick in a box' planning
MTSonline or Textbooks? Hmmm...

Cost is the obvious difference: $22 compared to $450 for class texts.

  • The changes will accommodate MTSonline Set 8 for 12-13 year olds.

What is Happening?

  • During 2011 we have experienced a marked increase of interest in the new Australian Curriculum.
  • In my view it is an excellent Curriculum!

3000 Colour-Landscape Activities

Now Available!

  • Our colour-landscape activity upload is now complete.
  • Simply click on any activity to use it for a lesson via an EWB.
  • EWB activities are fantastic for centering student attention on key lesson points
  • EWB activities provide a more effective teaching/learning context than texts or worksheets.
  • To see supporting Teacher Notes/answers/interactive web links switch to Portrait mode.

Other Features of Landscape Activities

  • Activities can be downloaded and printed as Word docs or in PDF.
  • Activities can be Bookmarked and downloaded.
  • Activities will automatically adjust to the size of any EWB.

New Feature: Interactive Website Search Option

    A new Search feature has been added to MTSonline.
  • Users can now choose to search for Activities or interactive website Links on any topic for any year group!
  • This feature is available at the Homepage and Search Option 2.

    Homepage:
  • Select 'Links' in the drop-box, select a Year (or multiple Years), enter a Keyword to search, click Search.
    Search Option 2:
  • Select 'Links', select a Year (or multiple Years), select the curriculum strand and topic to search, click Search.
