Use My Bookmarks

1. What Are Bookmark Activities?

  • To see your bookmarked activities go to My Bookmarks.

  • Bookmarks are a great way to identify and save collections of related MTS Activities that can become mini-textbooks, e.g. a 5 page mini-text on Fractions.

  • Mini-texts can also be used as working portfolios for reporting purposes.

  • Bookmark Activities can be downloaded as a single set of multiple pages in one PDF document.

  • Bookmark Activites can also be downloaded as Student pages only, Teacher's Notes only or a combination of both pages.

  • Bookmark Activities can also be linked to your daily lessons in My Planner. See How to Use My Planner in the menu at the right.

2. To Bookmark Activities From Search Option 1
  • Click on any Activity number to open it in Picture View.

  • Once opened you have access to a Bookmark icon at the top of the Picture View.
  • To see your Bookmarked Activities go to My Bookmarks on the left side navigation panel or click on the link to My Bookmarks in Search Option 1.

  • In My Bookmarks you will see your selected Activities in a list. You can View each Activity by clicking on the title (see Preview MTS Activities in the menu at the right).

3. To Bookmark Activities From Search Option 2
  • Following a search in Search Option 2 the Activities are listed in numerical order.

  • You can Bookmark any or all Activities by clicking on the Bookmark icon at the right of each Activity.

  • If you want to remove a Bookmarked Activity click a second time on the Bookmark icon.

  • You can also click on any Activity to open it in Picture View.

4. To Download Bookmarked Activities and Create Mini-textbooks
  • First, you should sort the Bookmarked Activities into the page order you want simply by clicking and holding your mouse over an Activity and then dragging it up or down into position.

  • Once you have arranged the Activities in the order you want you can click on Download (choose by Student page only, Teacher's Notes only or Combined) and a single PDF file will be downloaded to your local computer in your page order.

  • Note: Adobe PDF can be downloaded for free from this link: Download Adobe PDF.

  • With the file on your local computer you can save it in a folder with an appropriate folder address (e.g. for Windows Explore - Year 5/Number/Understand Fractions/Fractions Book) and print it as required.

  • In this way you can maintain many mini-texts/working portfolios ready for printing and class use.

5. Copyright
  • The User or User's school must be a holder of a current MTS License to use any downloaded MTS Activity at any time.

  • See also Copyright in the main menu for detailed License Agreement conditions.
