MTS Group Administrator Role
1. General
- All schools with more than one MTS License holder in the School User Group will require a person to be appointed as the School Group Administrator.
- The time required to carry out this role will be minimal and is described in points 2-5 below.
2. Order a School License
- To order a School License go to Purchase a License, select School License and follow the steps. Note that schools can order by using an official School Order Number.
3. Renewing Your School's Annual License- At the left side of the screen is a reminder of the days left on your school subscription.
- You can Extend your school license up to 30 days prior to the expiry day of your subscription.
- Go to Purchase a License at the top menu and select Extend your License.
- Follow the steps to make your order for the next 12 months.
- There is, of course, no obligation to do so.
4. Managing School Member Logins - On receipt of your original order for MTSonline we email the School Group Administrator a unique Registration Code to the person making the order.
- This link can be emailed to any member of your School User Group at any time. Each member clicks on the link and enters their email address so the website can check for any prior membership details (takes a nano-second!).
- If prior membership has occurred the member is automatically added to the School User Group.
- If the subscriber has no previous membership, they are prompted to put in their preference for a Username, Password, Email and Curriculum and then click Save.
- They can now login and use MTSonline.
- To email the link at any time to a teacher in the User Group, click on your blue school name link at the left or top of the Home page.
- Copy and Paste the link into an email message and then send it to the teachers with instructions to click on the link and follow the propmts to create their login.
5. Reallocating Licenses From Teacher to Teacher
- When a teacher leaves a school the license linked to that teacher can be allocated to their replacement.
- This reallocation can be done at any time.
- Log on as the School Administrator and click on the blue school link at the left or top of the screen.
- Follow the prompts to Remove teachers.
- Now go to 4. above to Add new teachers.
6. Liaison With School Centre - All liaison to School Centre is initially by email. See Contact.
- Before faults and issues related to accessing MTSonline are experienced we ask that you first carry out the following procedure:
Hold the Ctrl key and F5 key at the same time to refresh the screen.- If that doesn't resolve the issue, check you have an unbroken link to the internet by trying to open a different website. If it is broken follow the steps below in order.
Reboot the modem - usually by turning off or removing the power for up to 1 minute.Reboot your computer.Check your internet link. If the link is still down, check with your service provider.
- If the service provider confirms you have full internet access but cannot access MTSonline, contact School Centre by email and we will attend to the problem at the earliest opportunity.
